During the second part of Xiaomi 2021 New Product Launch in China, the company officially launched its first foldable smartphone — the Mi MIX Fold.

One of the products that the company launched during the said event, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun officially introduced its latest Mi MIX Series smartphone — the Mi MIX Fold.
This smartphone was the company’s first foldable smartphone with Surge C1 ISP and a Liquid Lens. You can check the specs, price, and availability below.
Technical Specifications
This foldable smartphone has two color variants available: Black and Ceramic Special Edition.
For the smartphone’s display, this foldable smartphone has an 8.01-inch WQHD+ flexible OLED internal disphay with 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and MEMC support.
It also has a 6.5- AMOLED external display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, Super Resolution, TrueColor display, and HDR10+ support.
For its performance, this smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, up to 16GB LPDDR5 3200MHz internal memory, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a double-cell battery design with a 5020mAh battery capacity.
In terms of its cameras, this smartphone has a triple-rear camera setup composed of a 108MP HM2 primary sensor, 8MP liquid lens, and 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It also has a 20MP front-facing camera.
This smartphone weighs 317 grams. Other technical specifications present in this smartphone include a Buttery cooling system, Surge C1 image processing chip, liquid lens, SOUND BY Harman Kardon, Side fingerprint unlock, Dual 5G stand-by, and Wi-Fi 6.
Price and Availability
In China, the price for this smartphone starts at CNY 9,999 for 12GB+256GB. Xiaomi announced that the company started accepting pre-orders for Mi MIX Fold.
Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone will be available in China on April 16 via official channels in Mainland China.
