Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto COVID-19 test result revealed
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Monday took to social media as he officially revealed his COVID-19 test result after getting tested for coronavirus disease.
Mayor Vico on Monday posted his COVID-19 test result on his social media accounts. In his post, Mayor Vico announced that his COVID-19 test result came out “negative”.
According to Mayor Vico, he’s currently in quarantine and he took the COVID-19 test on Sunday as he had close contact with his personal driver who tested positive for COVID-19 and passed away last March 12.
Aside from him, other people who were in the vehicle with him also tested “negative” for COVID-19. Mayor Vico encouraged others to “do their part to prevent the spread of this virus and its variants.”

“Kasalukuyang ako ay naka-quarantine. Nag-COVID-19 test na ako kahapon bilang ako po ay isang close contact. Strictly susunod tayo sa protocols natin. Hindi muna ako makakapasok sa trabaho at kina-cancel ko muna ang appointment o meeting. Kung maaari ay i-Zoom, Viber, text, and phone call muna ang pagtatrabaho,” Mayor Vico said on his Facebook Live.

Mayor Vico called on the public to follow health protocols amidst the ongoing surge in coronavirus cases, even encouraging them to go on a voluntary ECQ (enhanced community quarantine). However, Mayor Vico was still against the reimposition of stricter community quarantine status in Metro Manila.
