Miss World Organization would hold its pageant in Latin America this year.
The Miss World Organization officially announced that it will be holding Miss World 2021 pageant in Latin America for the very first time.
The Miss World Organization said in a video announcement posted on social media platforms that it would be staging the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico this year.
In order to mark its 70th anniversary, Miss World Organization announced that their media partners would have a host of brand new content this year — featuring 22 half-hour “head-to-head challenge” shows, a 70th anniversary special event featuring past winners, a two-hour highlights feature showcasing the best of 70 years of Miss World, a red carpet special event in the build-up to the coronation night, and a three-hour global television.

Meanwhile, Miss World Philippines announced last February that it had already started screening for the next candidates.
One of the candidates who appeared at the screening of applicants at the Red Hotel was TV Patrol entertainment reporter Ganiel Krishnan.
It was last July 2020 when the organization announced that the 70th Miss World pageant would be moved “in the latter part of 2021” because of the coronavirus pandemic.
