Man Left Shock As He Spots Ship Floating In The Sky
MAN SPOTS SHIP FLOATING IN THE SKY – Obviously, ships do float. That’s what they’re built for. However, you don’t usually see these things floating in the sky.
23-year-old Collin McCallum witnessed a confusing event last week off the Aberdeen-shire coast while traveling through Scotland. Apparently, he saw a ship that seemed to be hovering above the clouds.
But, what we all know is that McCallum simply saw an optical illusion. In the video, you could see the red ship “floating in the sky”. However, it’s bottom-half can’t be found anywhere.
Ever since his video went viral, netizens expressed their confusion. One netizen on Facebook said “I genuinely can’t understand what is going on here“.
Still, the video could be easily explained. According to McCallum the optical illusion was caused by:
“a cloud formation closer to the shore which changed the color of the water closer to the land. The boat, being further away, was in a cloudless area and therefore the sky reflected the sea making it look like the boat was floating.”
