After introducing its 5G roaming services to Thailand and UAE, Globe Telecom expanded its 5G roaming services to more countries in the Middle East and Asia.
Yugatech reported that Globe Telecom introduced its 5G roaming services to Thailand and UAE in the first quarter of the year.
In the following weeks, Globe Telecom was set to open its 5G services to visiting customers of Singtel of Singapore, CSL Hong Kong, and Ooredo of Kuwait.
Also, Globe 5G roaming services would also be available in Qatar, Kuwait via Ooredoo, and South Korea through SK Telecom.

Globe’s Vice President for Postpaid and International Business Coco Domingo said that their goal in getting the 5G service up in more countries was to make certain that when travel became safer and less restricted apart from ensuring that Globe customers were able to rely on a service in order to keep them connected during these challenging times.
Domingo also said that Globe customers would be able to enjoy 5G in more countries worldwide.
“Apart from ensuring that our customers are able to rely on a service to keep them connected during these challenging times, our goal in getting the 5G service up in more countries is to make certain that when travel becomes more safe and less restricted, our Globe customers will be able to enjoy 5G in more countries worldwide,” Domingo said.
