Cassy Legaspi on dealing with hate comments: “Why would you focus on the haters?”
Actress-vlogger Cassy Legaspi recently shared how she dealt with hate comments as celebrities — including herself — were prone to getting it.
In a Youtube vlog titled “ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT ME” last Wednesday, Cassy shared how she used to take bashers seriously in the past.
According to Cassy, she got her first set of haters when she’s nine years old and she would really “take it to heart” and act as if they really knew her when they really didn’t.
Cassy also shared that as she grew up, she eventually noticed that she got the same hate comments and she even got threats which was “really upsetting”.
Now that Cassy was more mature, she’s learned to focus on the more important things in life — including her loved ones.

Cassy also realized that being able to recognize hate comments from criticism was important when choosing what to put in her mind.
“Dati, affected ako. Ngayon, I don’t need them. Why would you focus on the haters? They don’t know you. But your loved ones? They know you. Sometimes, I come across comments online but I understand they’re just criticisms. I’m all for improvement and getting feedback pero iba na yung ‘panget mo’. My gosh, how could you say that? Let’s keep it light here,” Cassy said.
Meanwhile, after a lot of netizens shipped her with Darren Espanto, one of her fans assumed that Cassy was in love. To which, Cassy replied that she’s in love… with herself.
Cassy officially launched her Youtube channel last September 2020 with the aim of making her supporters and fans know her more.
