YG Entertainment responded to dating news between BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon
YG Entertainment had recently responded to the report that BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon were reportedly dating.
This, as YG Entertainment was the agency of BIGBANG and BLACKPINK.
Korean media outlet Dispatch had published an exclusive report on February 24 showing Jennie and G-Dragon on a date.
According to YG Entertainment, Jennie and G-Dragon belong to the agency and when asked by Korean media, the agency said that it was difficult for the company to confirm the personal life of its artists.
“It is difficult for the company to confirm the personal life of an artist. Thank you for your understanding,” YG Entertainment responded.

The news report stated that Jennie and G-Dragon had been in a relationship for a year.
Dispatch also reported that Jennie starred in a music video for G-Dragon’s “That XX” in 2012, adding that G-Dragon was Jennie’s idol while Jennie was G-Dragon’s muse.
As per the report, Jennie and G-Dragon would often meet at the latter’s home in Hannam-dong in Seoul and the media outlet also witnessed Jennie going to G-Dragon’s penthouse.
The report added that the relationship between Jennie and G-Dragon was an “open secret” within the agency as Jennie’s manager — and sometimes it’s the manager of G-Dragon — would bring her to G-Dragon’s house.
A close friend of Jennie and G-Dragon told Dispatch that a lot of people in the agency were also aware of their relationship.
The report added that Jennie left G-Dragon’s house to go to the location of BLACKPINK’s online concert last January 31 and G-Dragon’s vehicle was also spotted at the concert venue.
