The PGH prepared for COVID-19 inoculation of “at least 5,000” employees
The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) prepared for COVID-19 inoculation of “at least 5,000” employees as the hospital was one of the first COVID-19 referral centers in Manila.
The hospital’s preparation for the arrival of COVID-19 vaccines was on “full blast”, according to its spokesperson.
Dr. Jonas del Rosario, the spokesperson of the Philippine General Hospital, told ABS-CBN’s Teleradyo on Thursday that the hospital was set to vaccinate “at least 5,000” of its employees.
According to del Rosario, they’re really getting ready for the actual COVID-19 inoculation because they’re told that they would be the first to vaccinate and the COVID-19 vaccine doses would arrive as early as next week.
“Full blast na ang preparation…We’re also revving up on our setup, nurses who will be vaccinators are in their last phase of training. We’re really getting ready for the actual vaccination kasi ang sabi sa’min PGH daw ang mauuna at as early as next week dadating na ang vaccine,” del Rosario said.
