Michael V, who was also a toy collector, shared his thoughts about the big project being mounted by GMA Network as the network was producing a live-action series of the classic Japanese anime series, Voltes V.

In his recent “Bitoy Story” episode titled “DX VOLTES V (Unboxing & Review),” Bitoy talked about his initial thoughts about the viral teaser of “Voltes V: Legacy”.

Bitoy shared.

Bitoy also expressed his confidence in Director Mark Reyes, who was leading the “Voltes V: Legacy” team. According to him, Direk Mark was also a “certified geek”.

He also looked back at a certain episode of “Pepito Manaloto” wherein he got the chance to wear Steve Armstrong’s costume.

According to Bitoy, it’s the closest he could get to the original series and now they’re involved in the project, they’re a lot closer to the legacy.

And yes, Bitoy unboxed “DX SOC Volt In Box” and said that this would be the “last Voltes V figure na bibilhin ko in my life”. You can watch the video below:

Bitoy also felt that “Voltes V: Legacy” had a lot more supporters than bashers.

Given na ‘yung ka-career-in e, pero pag ‘di ka nag-enjoy, dun magsi-simula ‘yung problema and sana nga, pagsama-samahin talaga ng GMA ‘yung mga totoong fans ni ‘Voltes V’ to make sure that this project succeeds. Maraming bashers pero feeling ko mas maraming nagda-dasal na maging successful itong project na ‘to,” Bitoy shared.
