Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin appeared in Smart Communications’ Valentine’s 5G TV commercial
Smart Communications Inc. made South Korean stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin appear together in its Valentine’s 5G TV commercial for the first time.
This, as Smart Communications surprised K-fans with a treat for Valentine’s Day by releasing its latest TV commercial.
The said commercial, titled “Inevitable”, saw the two searching for each other in a crowded city aided by 5G technology.
According to Smart Communications, their pairing in the said commercial evoked a sense of doing the impossible, much like how Smart subscribers were able to achieve more when they’re connected to Smart 5G.
OPM band Ben&Ben wrote the music for the said TV commercial in partnership with Smart Communications.

According to Smart Communications, they made the wish of their fans who used the hashtag #InSmartWeTrust to finally make Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin appear together in a TV commercial.
“Finally! The wait is over for all of us K-fans who have been wishing for Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin to be together again. We heard your clamor, and we read all your #InSmartWeTrust posts so we knew this was inevitable. We had to make this happen. You are all part of this sweet journey, and we owe this to you, our dear subscribers. Enjoy!” according to Jane J, Basas, the SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.

Smart Communications picked Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin together in order to promote its new fast-growing 5G technology.
Meanwhile, Smart Communications said that it was in the forefront of 5G technology with the continued nationwide rollout of its ultrafast 5G network, which included strategic sites in Metro Manila, New Clark City in Pampanga, Cavite, Boracay, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, Laguna, and Rizal.
In addition, Smart Communications partnered with Samsung, Huawei, realme, and vivo in offering Smart 5G-certified devices under Smart Signature 5G Plans.
