Citing a report from Emojipedia, 9to5Mac reported that Apple had included 217 new emojis with iOS 14.5 beta 2, adding that new emojis came from the Emoji 13.1 specification that was certified way back in 2020 and would officially launch for the public soon.

New emojis include redesigned emoji for headphones currently represented by Apple’s AirPods Max, an updated syringe to support COVID-19 vaccination, and a lot more.

Notably, 200 of the 217 new emojis were focused on vastly expanding the combination of “couple with heart” available on Apple’s iOS.
