Walis Tambo Goes Viral After Seen At Trump Mob Storming Capitol
WALIS TAMBO GOES VIRAL – Earlier in the day, hundreds of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in a bid to overturn the election results.
However, amidst the chaos and unrest, a woman holding up a walis tambo was spotted. Typically, you would see this soft-bristled broom in most Filipino households.
As such, netizens deduced that the woman who appeared in the viral photos must have been Filipino. Along with the walis tambo, the person had a make-shift shield resembling that of Captain America with the word “coup” written in front.
Furthermore, it had the words pandemic hoax and false media embedded on it. Still, it’s yet to be known if the person holding the broom is Filipino.
However, netizens such as Nonoy Espina, a national union Journalist of the Philippines chair had this to say about the photo:
