Former Eat Bulaga host Sam YG recently took to social media as he announced that he’s officially engaged to his non-showbiz girlfriend.
This, as he shared the good news on his Instagram account last January 26, 2021.
Sam posted a photo on his Instagram post wherein he was seen kneeling on one knee while showing the ring in front of his non-showbiz girlfriend Essa Santos in a dreamy proposal setup.
“Essa YES [ring emoji]” Sam said in the caption on his post along with hashtags #SignedSealedDelivered, #ThatsItPansit, and #SwerteKoLang”.

Essa, on the other hand, took to social media as she expressed how surprised she was when her boyfriend popped the question to her.
On her Instagram post, she shared that she ugly-cried the whole time as she had to say that she didn’t expect the proposal at all.
“I kinda wish I did para mas prepared ako, but it makes for a great story anyway! It was always gonna be an ‘of course,’ my love… Thank you for this wonderful-amazing experience. I am truly the luckiest girl! I love you in all ways, always [heart emojis]” Essa said to Sam.
