Mega Vaccination Hub in Taguig City Earns Praises Online
The National Task Force Against COVID-19 has visited the Mega Vaccination Hub in Taguig City to inspect the vaccination program.
On Wednesday (January 27, 2021), the COVID-19 National Task Force visited Lakeshore Complex to check one of the Mega Vaccination centers excluding the 35 vaccination centers in the city of Taguig.
In Lakeshore, the individuals who want to receive a COVID019 vaccine shot needs to undergo the process including registration, counseling, screening and the vaccination. The hub also contains storage room for the vaccines.
National Task Force Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. said that the vaccination center of Taguig City could serve as an example towards other local government units. Taguig aims to administer the vaccine to about 670, 000 individuals.
Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano said that they could vaccinate the target residents within 23 days with the help of 400 vaccination team. Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano has also expressed his willingness to receive the vaccine shot.
The Philippine government aims to get 148 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines aside from the 40 million vaccines from Covax Facility.
