Volleyball star-turned-host Gretchen Ho took to social media wherein she shared her experience after undergoing eye surgery.
Gretchen went through an operation called Lasik eye surgery. It is a procedure that helps correct the vision of people who are nearsighted, farsighted, or those who have astigmatism.
The 30-year-old host was happy to announce that after undergoing the procedure, she now has 20/20 vision from having a grade of 626/600.
“FINALLYYYYY. I’ve always wanted to do this but now’s the only time I found time. Had Lasik surgery yesterday with the doctor who operated on my mom’s eyes 20 years ago, Dr. Robert Ang. I felt comfortable and confident, having seen the effects on my mom’s life 20 years later. She was one of the first batches!!
Before the operation, all sorts of details about her eye were measured including the thickness of the cornea, eye pressure, tear production, and to name a few.
According to Gretchen Ho, she felt nervous about the operation at first.
But during the operation, Gretchen Ho saw different lights, felt some pressure lang on her eye and the good thing is that everything was painless.
The whole Lasik eye surgery lasted for only 30 minutes.
