The massive fish kill in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato reached P21 million worth of damage after affecting around 1,500 cages.
The Facebook page “GMA Public Affairs” has shared the photos of the huge fish kill in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato affecting 1,500 fish cages. The photos garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the photos, it can be seen that a huge amount of fish died due to the fish kill incident. The bodies of lifeless fishes can be seen floating across the water of a fishery. The heartbreaking scenery crushed the heart of the owner.
The Municipal Agriculture Office reported that the incident affected more than a thousand of fish cages and the total damage cost P21 million. The fish cages have been nearly cover by dead fishes.
However, the agriculture office has yet to reveal to cause of the fish kill in the area.
