Eric Fructuoso was set to open his new food business in Caloocan City
Actor Eric Fructuoso recently took to social media as he shared that he was set to open his new food business in Caloocan City — the “Gwapigs Porkchop”.
This, after he opened his “Gwapings Moto” motorcycle shop in Naic, Cavite last month.
Both Eric’s businesses had references to the name of the popular ‘90s male teen group “Gwapings” which the actor was a part of.
On his Instagram account, he posted an update on his food business last January 11, 2021, after sharing that construction on the place had begun last month.
Also on his Instagram account, he shared that the opening of Gwapigs Porkchop’s first branch will be on January 16 at Dagat-Dagatan in Caloocan.
Prior to opening his new businesses, he was known to share a construction business with his non-showbiz wife.
Eric was also a proud and loving father to his four children whom he regularly posted about on his social media account aside from being an actor an an entrepreneur.

The actor rose to fame in the early 1990s along with Jao Mapa, Jomari Yllana, and Mark Anthony Fernandez. Their group, “Gwapings” was part of the cast of Joey Marquez and Richard Gomez’s sitcom “Palibhasa Lalake“.
The said group went on to star in their own film “Guwapings: The First Adventure” in 1992 and a variety show called “Gwapings Live!” which lasted until 1993.
