Elon Musk Blames Facebook For Trump Supporter Riot In Capitol
ELON MUSK BLAMES FACEBOOK – On Twitter, Elon Musk threw shade at Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a form of a meme.
Recently, the world stood watch as hundreds of Trump supporters stormed capitol grounds. Due to the sheer number of rioters, authorities were overwhelmed and many got inside the debate chambers.
As such, it caused major delays in Congress certifying Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential election win. Since then, Twitter and Facebook both banned Trump from using their platforms after he “incited violence”.
Meanwhile, TESLA and SPACEX CEO Elon Musk chimed in on the event with yet another meme. On Twitter he posted “This is called a domino effect” and posted this photo:
Obviously, Facebook started out as a rating website for Harvard and eventually blew up to become the biggest social media platform in the world. However, Zuckerberg himself admitted that through his platform, Trump was able to incite violence and spread false news regarding major issues such as the pandemic and the elections.
But, this isn’t the first time Musk took a jab at the social media giant. Back in February 2020, he called Facebook “lame”. Three months later, he said “Facebook sucks” after the company’s A.I. lead criticized Musks knowledge of A.I.
Currently, Musk still beats Zuckerberg with TESLA being worth $110B which makes him the third richest person in the world. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg sits at 4th place with Facebook being worth over $100B.
