Ben&Ben percussionist and vocalist Toni Muñoz had undergone major surgery.
OPM band Ben&Ben on Saturday announced on Facebook that Toni Muñoz, a percussionist and a vocalist of the band, had just undergone major surgery.
Posting a photo of Toni in a hospital bed, Ben&Ben announced that she had undergone major surgery and she would be temporarily absent from other shows and events of Ben&Ben.
The band also said encouraged their supporters to pray for her speedy recovery.

Toni, through Ben&Ben’s Facebook page, gave an update and said that the surgery went well.
She thanked her family and friends who prayed for her and also thanked those who sent messages to her. Toni also said that she promised to take it easy so that she could recover quickly and completely.
“I underwent a major surgery yesterday morning and it went well! I’m okay! There’s still pain, of course, but I feel so much better than yesterday. At alam kong mas magiging okay pa sa mga susunod na araw. Salamat sa mga pamilya at kaibigan na nagdasal para sa akin, at sa mga nagpadala ng mga mensahe. I promise to take it easy para mabilis akong gumaling nang tuluyan. Your prayers, well-wishes, and messages are very well appreciated!” Toni said.
It was last December when the band was recognized as Spotify Philippines’ Most Streamed Artist of 2020.
