Twitter and MAMA Teamed up for “Stanbot”
Twitter on Thursday announced that it would be partnering with Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in order to bring fans closer to their idols with “Stanbot”.
This, as “Stanbot” was a robot-operated camera that captured the looks and moments of South Korean pop artists from this year’s Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) show.
For K-pop fans worldwide, nothing was more highly-anticipated than the MAMA 2020 that was set to happen on December 6, 2020.
In a press release, it was revealed that “Stanbot” would capture slow-motion videos showing a side of their favorite idols that a lot of their fans had never seen before.
These “Stanbot” would only be available on Twitter through @MnetMAMA.
In addition, Twitter would also provide a unique hashtag for the said event, including #MAMAVOTE, #2020MAMA, and #2020MAMA_Stanbot.
