Taylor Swift was set to release her 9th studio album.
Taylor Swift had recently took to social media as she surprised her fans and supporters by announcing the release date of her 9th studio album.
This, as Taylor’s announcement came months after releasing her 8th studio album “folklore”.
In her Instagram post, Taylor revealed that she was set to release her new studio album “evermore” – her 9th studio album and also the “sister record” of her 8th album.
Taylor admitted that they couldn’t stop writing songs as they chose to wander deeper in, adding that she had never done this before.

Taylor also shared that she had always treated her albums as “one-off eras” in the past and moved onto planning the next one after her album was released.
However, she shared that there’s something different with “folklore” as she felt less like she’s departing and more like she’s returning while making her 8th album.
“I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found into your lives. So I just kept writing them,” Taylor said.
Moreover, Taylor said that her upcoming album will be album “tonight at midnight eastern”, which means, “evermore” album was expected to release at 1:00 p.m. of Friday (Philippine time).
