Richard Yap starts taping for his first show as a Kapuso star
Former ABS-CBN actor Richard Yap had started taping for his upcoming first show on GMA Network as the newest Kapuso star.
This, as Richard was set to appear in a guest role in GMA Network’s well-loved comedy anthology “Dear Uge”.
In several photos from the set of the said show, GMA Entertainment reported that Richard can be seen in the scene with Kapuso comedian Eugene Domingo who was the host and star of the Kapuso series.
The actress was still wearing a blonde and curly wig while carrying a suitcase. So far, there’s no information on what the episode was all about and what Richard’s role would be in it.

It was last December 16 when Richard signed a management contract with GMA Artist Center.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, he said that he’s grateful to GMA Network for betting on him despite that other stations were letting go of people at the time of a coronavirus pandemic, adding that he’s lucky to be accepted and to be a part of the network.
GMA Entertainment also reported that “Dear Uge” and the late night comedy show “The Boobay and Tekla Show (TBATS)” would be the first programs Richard would visit as the new Kapuso star.
As per the report, it was part of Richard’s plan to try a different genre aside from the heavy drama.
