Pope Francis Gives Out Paracetamol For Christmas To Vatican Employees
POPE FRANCIS GIVES PARACETAMOL – Pope Francis gave Vatican employees a more practical gift for Christmas amid the COVID-19 pandemic – paracetamol.
As the year is about to come to a close, the world is still plagued with the new coronavirus. However, as companies such as Pfizer and Moderna ramp up distribution of their vaccine, hope for a safer year blooms.
Meanwhile, in a bid to address the rampant spread of the virus, employers got creative with their Christmas presents for their employees. Among these, apparently, was the Vatican.
According to an article from ABS-CBN, a source from the Vatican confirmed the unconventional gift had already been sent out to over 4,000 employees. Furthermore, sources showed photos of stacks of pills for cold and flu inside boxes labeled “Gift of the Holy Father to Vatican Employees (5 boxes per employee)”.
Previously, the Vatican and the Pope’s official Instagram account was part of a controversy concerning an Instagram model. Netizens took note how the Pope’s official IG like a raunchy photo of an Instagram model who barely had anything on.
Following this incident, the Vatican said they would immediately conduct investigations regarding the issue. On the other hand, the Instagram model said she was “blessed” that the Pope (or rather his IG account) liked her picture.
