COVID-19 Vaccine Is Safe, Pinoy Nurse in UK Claims After Receiving His First Vaccine Shot
A Pinoy nurse named Leo Quijano in the United Kingdom said that the COVID-19 vaccine is safe after receiving a shot.
On Monday (December 14, 2020), Leo Quijano said that he doesn’t feel any negative side effects after receiving a shot of anti-COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by Pfizer-BioNTech. A lot of Filipino nurses in the UK have received the vaccine.
Quijano revealed that he feel only mild body pain, tiredness, and mild fever a day after the injection. However, he immediately recovered after taking some paracetamol when he experienced the side effects.
“So far, this is my pang-apat na araw ko na po after nag-vaccination ako ng COVID-19 vaccine. Wala naman akong nararamdaman so far, a day after ng injection, nagkaroon ako ng mild body pain, tiredness, tsaka mild fever. Pero, nawala rin po the next day because I took some paracetamol,” Quijano said.
The Pinoy nurse who has been working in the UK for 20 years would receive the second dose of the vaccine on December 31, 2020. He also said that he wants to spread the awareness about the safety of the vaccine.
The health worker assured his fellow countrymen that Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine against the contagios disease is safe because the experts have studied it well before releasing it to the public.
