Mandaluyong City Issues Contact Tracing Application “MandaTrack”
The local government unit of Mandaluyong City has launched a contact tracing application for easier and faster monitoring.
On Thursday (December 17, 2020), the Mandaluyong City has launched their own application called “MandaTrack” using QR code for contact tracing. The application aims to provide faster and easier monitoring in the city.
The residents would not be required to write their names and other details on the log book but they just need to show their QR code for scanning and tracking. The users just have to register to get their QR code.
Both residents, visitors, and employees in the city need to register on the application. Users could also print the QR code for presentation in government officers and various business establishments.
Isidro also assured the users that all the data gathered in the contact tracing application is safe. Valenzuela and Pasig have also created their own contact tracing app.
