Huawei officially launched Petal Maps
Huawei Technologies had officially launched the “Petal Maps” app — an app that served as a replacement to Google Maps for Huawei users.
And yes, this app was already available for Huawei users as the “Petal Maps” app can be downloaded at the AppGallery.
Although the Beta version of the said app allowed the users to search for locations, business, other points of interest, and even save their favorites.
In addition, it allowed users to zoom in and out and and also switch between navigation view and map overview through air gestures.

Gizguide reported that the new maps app also comes with a step-by-step navigation with routing options showing the fastest route and also had the ability to display real-time traffic as well.
As per the report, Huawei boasted that the said app was highly secured as all data were encrypted (E2EE) end-to-end.
Moreover, the said app also had a voice guidance which was currently available in English, Mandarin, French, Spanish, German, and Italian.
