A fresh graduate man has decided to quit his job for underpaid and tried to sell chicken ride at the sidewalk to earn money.
Nowadays, a lot of people believe that education is one of the major keys to success, which is true. However, graduating from college and having a bachelor’s degree is not an assurance of landing a stable job.
Many college graduates are even struggling to get a stable job and some of them even failed to make ends meet for being underpaid. Sometimes, the job they are landing with becomes a burden to them.
Recently, a supportive mom identified as Surintorn Potiwat has shared the story of her fresh graduate son who quits his job because of poor pay conditions. She also said that her son’s boss refused to give him an extra allowance amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Potiwat also noticed that her son is unhappy with his job since his salary hoes fare in going to work and other expenses. Eventually, the guy decided to quit from his job in Bangkok, Thailand. Surintorn did not oppose her son’s decision.
“My son is a Business Communications major. He just graduated from junior college this year, It is because of the low salary, his monthly salary is 10,000 baht ($330), while the monthly salary of graduates is typically 13,000 baht ($430),” Surintorn said.
Eventually, the young man decided to sell chicken rice at the side walk. The first day did not sit well but the guy’s friends visited his stall after sharing his story of Facebook.
