Pres. Duterte To Spend Christmas in Davao City
DUTERTE – Philippine Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte flew home to Davao City for the Christmas celebration together with his family.
Philippines has one of the longest celebrations of the Christmas season. Most Filipinos really look forward to this season tagged as “the most wonderful time of the year”.
Upon the start of September, many Filipinos already start planning and, some even start buying, gifts for their loved ones on the holiday season. A lot of people also start planning about the food to prepare for the family.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic now, the celebration of Christmas might be quite different from how it is usually done. Big gatherings are prohibited.
Also, Christmas parties are not allowed in most parts of the country. Metro Manila has officially banned Christmas parties in public and private offices this year.
Meanwhile, the essence of Christmas which is love remains. Everyone may still enjoy the presence of the families these holidays.
