The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Bureau of Customs (BOC), and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) were currently conducting their respective investigations on the said matter.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, the vaccination of several military members had breached the regulatory process as the vaccines used weren’t registered yet with the agency.
The Food and Drug Administration added that Philippine laws prohibited the manufacturing, importation, exportation, sale, distribution, and non-consumer use of unregistered products.

Durante also said that the selected PSG personnel who were always with President Rodrigo Duterte received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine in September and the second shot in October.
He added that they had yet to observe any side effects of the said vaccine. When asked who administered the said vaccine, Durante said “kami-kami lang”.
Moreover, Durante said that he requested the unauthorized COVID-19 vaccines for free, but he had been refusing to disclose the source of the vaccines.
However, he said that the source of the said vaccine could be a person, a company, or a State. Durante added that there’s no bribery or even favors involved with the source of the said vaccines.
