Roque Reacts To Robredo Daughter Becoming Licensed Physician
ROQUE REACTS TO ROBREDO DAUGHTER – Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque gave his reaction following news that Tricia Robredo pass the physician licensure examination.
Previously, Roque used a Tweet thread of Tricia and her sister, Aika Robredo as an example of why Duterte was peeved amid the #NasaanAngPangulo trend. Sure enough, Vice President Leni Robredo quickly defended her daughters.
According to a previous article, the Vice President said:
“They are their own persons. What they have accomplished, so far, are all borne out of their hard work. They never used our name or whatever little influence we have to get what they want. They’re all adults now. They’re not in government. They are not politicians and they don’t plan to be“.
However, a few weeks later, Robredo shared news that her daughter was now a doctor after she passed the physicians licensure exam. Afterward, Roque, during a virtual press briefing congratulated Tricia for her achievements.
“Congratulations po sa lahat ng bagong doktor. Congratulations po sa anak ni VP Robredo”, said the spokesperson. Moreover, he stated that he hopes his children could also graduate and become doctors as well.
Following this, Roque added that amid the pandemic, fresh doctors such as Tricia Robredo are considered as the “bagong bayani”.
