November 2020 Physician Board Exam will continue as scheduled.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Medicine officially announced that the November 2020 Physician Board Exam will continue as scheduled.
This, as the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Medicine said that they recognized the “urgent need for physicians during these times of public health emergency“.
Relative to this, the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Medicine released the health and safety protocols for examination personnel and examinees.
According to the Commission, all examinees and examination personnel should observe the following: examinees should be restricted to their assigned seat; physical distancing; bringing alcohol for hand disinfection; wearing face shield and face mask at all times; and wearing latex gloves for exam personnel handling the test questionnaires.
The examinee should also submit the duly accomplished Informed Consent and Health Declaration forms with the Notice of Admission (NOA) and Quarantine Certificate / negative Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test result to the proctor on the examination day.
In addition, examinees and examination personnel should also bring their own meals to be eaten during breaks, while being in their respective assigned seats.
Moreover, examinees were also asked to bring their own pens, pencils, and erasers as borrowing from seatmate wasn’t allowed in order to prevent cross-contamination.
Lastly, loitering and talking were also prohibited in the examination room or in the hallways.
The November 2020 Physician Board Exam will be held on November 10, 11, 15, and 16 at PRC testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
