Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chairperson and CEO Liza Diño-Seguerra took to social media as she wrote a message for Ice Seguerra’s father.
This, after Ice announced the passing of his father last Sunday, November 15, 2020.
In her Facebook account, Liza shared a photo of a “very intimate father and son moment” between Íce and his father on Sunday morning as they shared their last moments together.
At that time, Liza shared that Ice got the chance to tell his father something that he had never told him before.
According to Liza, Ice was standing by his father’s side, held his father’s hand and thanked his father for being the “BEST dad”.

Liza then confirmed that Ice’s father, Daddy Dick, died peacefully at around Sunday noon as he surrounded by love and support from his family.
She also thanked the public for their love and prayers.
“Daddy, rest ka na. No more pain. Thank you for loving me like your own daughter. Wag po kayong mag-alala, aalagaan ko po at mamahalin ko po si Ice, and the whole family like the way you loved them. Mahal na mahal na mahal ka namin,” Liza said.
It was recalled that Ice shared that he remained positive despite that his father was having a battle against prostate cancer last March.
