Undeniably, the Christmas station ID of the Kapamilya network is one of the things that many people await every Christmas season. Previously, there were queries on whether or not the network will push through with it considering its status now.
ABS-CBN lost the franchise bid last July 2020. The voting of the House Franchise Committee denied the network of a fresh 25-year franchise.
Massive employee retrenchments took place following the denial of the ABS-CBN franchise bid. Many artists under the network also accepted the offers from other network.
