OPPO teased one of concept phones for upcoming INNO Day 2020.
Chinese teaser OPPO had recently teased one of its concept phones which will be officially launch in its upcoming INNO Day 2020.
This, as OPPO’s poster was posted on Weibo along with a caption which roughly translated as “Big screen? Small screen? Infinite screen? In the future, your mobile phone may be able to retract freely“.
The said event — dubbed as “INNO Day” — was usually a highly anticipated event as OPPO was known to showcase new and breathtaking technologies that the company had been developing.
This year’s edition is set for November 17 and one of the posters released by OPPO teased a concept phone with a rollable display.

As seen in the said poster, it showed a render of a concept phone with a curved screen and a display that can be retracted or extended to change the size.
However, OPPO clearly stated in its Weibo post that the said phone was a concept phone and had no plans to sell it yet.
Meanwhile, Gizmochina reported that OPPO joined the growing list of manufacturers working on a concept phone with a rollable display. The said list include TCL and LG.
As per the report, an OPPO patent for a phone with a rollable display was published by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) earlier this month and there’s a possibility that the said phone that will be showcased at tomorrow’s event may be based on the said patent.
