DOH COVID-19 update as of November 20, 2020
The Department of Health (DOH) gave an update about its latest COVID-19 tally as of 4:00 p.m. of November 20, 2020.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #251 dated November 20, 2020, the Department of Health recorded 1,639 newly-reported COVID-19 cases. This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 415,067.
Also, the Department of Health reported 31,805 total active cases wherein 84.7% were mild cases, 8.1% were asymptomatic cases, 4.5% were critical cases, 2.4% were severe cases, and 0.21% were moderate cases.

Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of November 20 only: Davao City with 113 new cases, Laguna with 76 new cases, Quezon City with 75 new cases, Rizal with 75 new cases, and Cavite with 63 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 305 newly-reported recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 375,237. Also, the Department of Health recorded 27 newly-reported fatalities, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 8,025.
While the coronavirus disease was still present in the Philippines and the number of COVID-19 cases kept on increasing, the Department of Health constantly reminded the public to continually follow the minimum public health standards.
With this, the Department of Health said that the DOH was intensifying Coordinated Operations to Defeat the Epidemic (CODE), contact tracing efforts, and One Hospital Command Center (OHCC) in regions with high coronavirus cases in order to deliver quality health services against COVID-19.
