Smart Communications on Wednesday said that Sun Prepaid subscribers were already considered as Smart Prepaid subscribers.
This, as Smart Communications announced that it officially completed the rebranding of Sun Prepaid to Smart Prepaid.
In a report on Gizguide, former Sun Prepaid subscribers were allowed to avail Smart’s GIGA Stories, GIGA Video, and GIGA Games which Smart Communications said to have “generous data allocations”.
Jane J. Basas, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Wireless Business for Smart, said that the company’s thrust had always been about enabling Filipinos to “simplify their lives through mobile technology” through the years.
“By simplifying, we mean making things easier and manageable so they can spend more time on the things that matter to them“, Basas said.

As per the report, Smart noted that Sun Prepaid users can easily avail of the promos by dialing *123#.
Smart was supporting the government’s initiative through introducing GIGA Study data promo as the government imposed distance learning in the Philippines.
Also, Smart Communications launched GIGA Work, offering access to Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts, and Cisco WebEx since remote working had been embraced due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Globe Telecom had recently introduced the first shareable data promo in the Philippines — the “SHARE&SURF” promo.
