On Friday, Domingo told GMA News Online that the Reno liver spread already have a Certificate of Product Registration (CPR).

Domingo also said that securing a Certificate of Product Registration means that the said product can go back in the shelves of markets.

Domingo’s confirmation came after the Food and Drug Administration issued an advisory last September 16 warning the public against buying Reno liver spread just because the said product had never undergone an evaluation of the agency.

The Food and Drug Administration explained that the manufacturer of Reno liver spread failed to secure a Certificate of Product Registration.

In addition, The Food and Drug Administration said that there were types of authorizations before any processed food product could be released in the Philippine market.
