Why Kris Aquino Stopped Buying Branded Items
KRIS AQUINO – The actress-TV host revealed the reason why she stopped buying branded items since March.
One of the most popular celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry is actress-TV host Kris Aquino. In fact, the actress is known not only in the country but as well as abroad.
Kris is the youngest daughter of the late former Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino but aside from being the child of prominent personalities in politics, she has established her own name.
Undeniably, there was a time when Kris is one of the most bankable stars in the showbiz industry. It is not a surprise if she has saved a lot during her shining years in showbiz.

Apart from her progressive career then, Kris has several businesses nationwide. She has her own team – the KCAP or Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions.
The actres-TV host has two sons – Josh, her son with actor Philip Salvador, and Bimby, her son with cager James Yap. Both of them are living with her.
Kris Aquino visibly has a lot of luxury items. However, since March, she has not bought branded items and she revealed the reason why.
Based on a report on Pep, the actress-TV host found it useless to buy branded items since she is not going out amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She has not used her credit card.
“I stopped totally… I did not buy anything at all. Because I really feel, what changed is because you’re not going out, so what’s the point?” she said.
Based on the report, Kris usually shops through Net-A-Porter and she is considered as one of the shopping website’s “Extremely Important Person”. According to her, she might be downgraded because she did not have a single transaction lately.
Kris finds it insensitive to keep on buying branded items amid the pandemic. She even felt guilty that she has a lot of unused designer clothes while other people have to cut their budgets amid the crisis.
