Netizens Claims Tilapia Fish Washed Up in Manila Bay “Walang Kaliskis”?
MANILA BAY – The netizens expressed their opinions and comments on Tilapia fish washed up in Manila Bay claiming “Walang Kaliskis”.
Over the past few days, the unexpected fishkill happened along the shoreline of Manila Bay becomes one of the most controversial topics online. The incident happened near to Baseco in Tondo, Manila.
Several netizens were blaming the artificial white sand or crushed dolomite dumped at the bay for the fishkill. Hundreds of fish have been washed up and found floating lifeless near the Baseco seawall.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources explained that the white sand had nothing to do with the incident. Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that he smells something fishy about the incident.
Recently, a Facebook user named John Rollon Amasa has shared the photo of a Tilapia fish washed up in Manila Bay. It can be noticed that the fishes have no scales and looks so thin. The photo garnered various reactions from the social media users.
Several netizens are also claiming that the fishes were just thrown at the bay to put the blame on the government.
