Kakai Bautista recovers from COVID-19
Singer and comedienne Kakai Bautista tested negative for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The 42-year-old actress is glad because, after fourteen days, she was able to overcome the virus.
In an Instagram post on Friday, September 11, Kakai Bautista announced that she has “graduated” from “COVID University.”
Dubbed as the Dental Diva, she wrote: “Today, On my 14th day… I graduated from COVID University!!!!! Yes, I was tested positive for Covid-19 Assymptomatic, and got another test today and the result was negative. THANK YOU LORD.”
She said that she publicized her COVID-19 bout in order to raise awareness among netizens about the frightening illness.
“I am making it public so that I maybe able to share my journey to all of you and raise more awareness.”
She warned: “Guysh, Covid is not a joke. Oo, sakit siya. Virus siya.”

In the next few days, she will upload a video of her journey while fighting COVID-19.
According to her via PEP.ph, “fear and anxiety” were among the leading cause of death of persons infected with the coronavirus.
Kakai started her career as a theater actress.
She then ventured into TV acting via Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay, Kampanerang Kuba, Kokey, and most recently in the Filipino-Thai movie, Suddenly It’s Magic.
