Banat By test positive with Coronavirus
Pro-Duterte blogger Banat By or Byron Cristobal in real life tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Recently, Banat By revealed on his official Facebook page that he’s infected with the dreaded virus.
Based on his post, he was not feeling well since August 6 (which is also his birthday) and after some time, he went through swab testing.
On August 16, his results came and it turned out positive.
His post was then flooded with comments and reactions with some praying for his recovery.
In the said post, he paid a tribute to the medical frontliners who spearhead the fight against COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health announced via its latest bulletin that the Philippines has recorded 3,314 additional cases, 237 new recoveries, and 18 new deaths.
Based on the record of the country’s health department, the Philippines has now a total of 164,474 confirmed cases with 112,759 recoveries and 2,681 deaths as of August 17.
