Mothers of James Reid and Nadine Lustre are still close to each other
James Reid and Nadine Lustre reportedly broke up early this year but their mothers still call each other as “balae” (parent of one’s son or daughter-in-law).
JaDine, the tandem of James and Nadine, is one of the most-love love teams in the Philippine entertainment industry in this generation. They did various TV and movie projects together that became a big hit.
James and Nadine also did projects together that involved their music careers. However, JaDine fans were shocked and heartbroken when the two celebrities confirmed that they already broke up. However, despite that confirmation, they were still spotted together at various events with their friends.
Some fans believed that they already got back together while some speculated that they did not really break up.

Just recently, the mother of James Reid, Marcela MacDonald, celebrated her birthday. In the birthday celebration for her, Nadine Lustre was there and gave her a cake with this dedication written on it: “Happy Birthday Mommy Ella”.
James’ mom shared photos on her Facebook account taken during her birthday celebration. Marcela is thankful for this birthday celebration with her loved ones.
“My 54th birthday was been indeed a blast of Surprises that made not only me but the whole world cloud 9 happier..thank you so much Chanty,and James & Nadz for the LOVE i am truly blessed…love you 3,” she said in one of her posts.
This brought excitement to JaDine fans who have been anticipating their “balikan”. Some even commented that the former couple indeed got back together.
In one of Marcela’s birthday posts, she thanked the people who gave her birthday gifts and one of them was Nadine’s mother, Myraquel Paguia Lustre.
The mother of James Reid called the mother of Nadine Lustre as “My Balae”.
