MSI CEO Charles Chiang Dies at 56 After Falling From a Building

Sheng-Chang “Charles” Chiang, the CEO of tech hardware company Micro-Star International (MSI) died at the age of 56 after falling from the 7th floor of a building in Taipei’s Zhonghe District on Tuesday, July 7.

Charles Chiang was rushed to a nearby but was later declared dead. However, no further details have been divulged about the death of the MSI CEO.

According to Rappler.com, Charles Chiang has been working with MSI for over 20 years already and last January 2019, he was hailed as the Chief-Executive-Officer (CEO) of the company.

“Earlier today, MSI GM and CEO Charles Chiang passed away. Having been a part of the company for more than 20 years, he made outstanding contributions and was admired by his colleagues,” an MSI spokesperson said.

“Mr. Chiang was a respected leader in the MSI family, and helped pave the way for the brand’s success. We are all deeply saddened by the news, and are mourning the loss of Mr. Chiang. He will be deeply missed by the entire team,” the spokesperson added.

Micro-Star International Co., a Taiwanese multinational information technology corporation located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, was founded last August 4, 1986, and has been operating for 33 years already.

MSI is a company that designs, develops, and provides computer hardware, related products and services and to name a few.
