Open Letter of Iwa Moto for Government Over ABS-CBN Issue
IWA MOTO – The former actress took to the social media an open letter for the government amid the issue involving the ABS-CBN network.
Currently, one of the issues being tackled by the government is about the expired franchise of the ABS-CBN network. The network’s broadcast category is now on off-air following a Cease and Desist Order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
Immediately after receiving the NTC order in the first quarter of 2020, the broadcasting of the Kapamilya network went off-air. It gained different reactions – some were saddened as many people may lose their jobs while others believe it must be done considering the status of the network’s franchise.

Recently, some of the Kapamilya programs were back on airing through Sky Cable and Kapamilya TV Plus. However, its airing was cut short following a new NTC order.
On social media, former actress Iwa Moto posted a message for the government mentioning the ABS-CBN network. She told the government to check on the Meralco bill instead of allegedly running after and grilling the network.
Iwa Moto expressed her dismay against Meralco. According to her, life now is hard and it is made more difficult. Here is the former actress’ Instagram post:
Iwa is on a showbiz hiatus for several years now. Visibly, she is dedicating her time to being a mother to her daughter with Pampi Lacson.
The former actress is visibly very close too to Thirdy Lacson, the son of her partner with actress Jodi Sta. Maria. She and the Kapamilya star are close to each other as well.
