Twitter hid a tweet from US President Donald Trump on Tuesday after he delivered his strong warning to the protesters in the US capital.
This, as Twitter said that Trump’s tweet vowing to use his force if protesters tried to create an “autonomous zone” in Washington broke the platform’s rules over abusive content.

Twitter’s move appeared to be the first by the company against Donald Trump for his “abusive” tweet. Twitter had recently labeled other tweets from Donald Trump as “misleading” and violating its standards on “promoting violence”.

In Trump’s tweet, he said that there would never be an “autonomous zone” in the US capital as long as he’s the President, adding that protesters would be met with serious force if they tried to.
Twitter’s recent action may require its users to click through in order to read Trump’s tweet, placing a tag on the message that Trump’s tweet had violated the platform’s rules about “abusive behavior”, yet it would remain accessible “in the public’s interest”.
As per the report, a tweet from Donald Trump was referred to the “police-free” district that was previously created by protesters in Seattle which had sparked outrage among the conservatives.
