Ryan Bang worried about something during break from It’s Showtime
It’s Showtime host Ryan Bang has revealed something during break from the noontime show, following pandemic lockdown and ABS-CBN shutdown.
The 29-year-old South Korean host admitted that he’s worried about his finances due to the apparent hiatus.
Ryan Bang is one of the main hosts of the ABS-CBN noontime program, It’s Showtime at the same time, he was a mainstay of now-defunct gag show, Banana Sundae.
“Most striking to me this quarantine? Siyempre honest ako… Siyempre, siguro lahat tayo, pag di pumapasok yung suweldo, yun ang pinaka-striking. Panic, di ba?” he said in an interview with PEP.ph and other members of the press.
“Sanay tayo may pumapasok suweldo lagi. Nung hindi na pumapasok suweldo, mag-apply na sana ako ng delivery, e,” he stated in jest.
But later on, he clarified that “may suweldo pala kami.”
It was on March 15 when the management of ABS-CBN announced that live shows and tapings were put on hold due to the threats of COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement is in accordance with the government’s protocol for Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) banning mass gathering and going outside except for essential goods.
Aside from that, on May 5, 2020, the ABS-CBN Network shutdown following a cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
