This, as Lalisa Manoban, also known as Lisa of BLACKPINK, was reportedly scammed KRW 1 billion by her former manager as he managed to waste it on gambling.
In a report on Market News, Mr. A — who was the former manager of Lisa — had been with her since her debut with the group in 2016, adding that Lisa had put her trust into her former manager. Mr. A also had a “strong sense of trust” with other members of BLACKPINK and within YG Entertainment.
Mr. A then took advantage of the trust that Lisa gave to him, telling her to use her money in order to help her find a real estate to invest her money. However, it turned out that he wasted Lisa’s money on gambling.
As per the report, it wouldn’t be easy for her to let her fans know about the said issue, yet an official told Market News that Lisa was vulnerable in a foreign country considering that she was a “foreign member of BLACKPINK”.
Meanwhile, Mr. A was reportedly no longer employed as an employee of YG Entertainment and settled his resignation from the said company.
