Lea Salonga Speaks About On-Screen Tandem w/ Former Leading Man Aga Muhlach
LEA SALONGA – The Broadway actress has a question on her loveteam with actor Aga Muhlach.
Are you also a fan of the AgaLea, the on-screen tandem of former matinee idol Aga Muhlach and actress-singer Lea Salonga? A lot of people are die hard fans and supporters of the two (2) celebrities.
In fact, until now, the AgaLea fans and supporters are eager to see a reunion movie of the two (2) celebrities. That is amid the actor becoming less active on his showbiz career and the actress-singer focusing on her projects abroad.
The AgaLea tandem continues to bring romantic excitement to their fans and supporters despite that both of the stars have families of their own now. Meanwhile, their families are close to each other.
Aga is married to Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach, a beauty queen and former talk show host of ABS-CBN. They have twin (2) children – a son named Andres and a daughter named Atasha.
Lea is married to businessman Robert Chien, an entertainment software company’s managing director in Los Angeles. They have a daughter named Nicole.
For several occasions, Aga, Lea, and their spouses were spotted together. This makes the fans and supporters admire the bond of the two (2) celebrities more.
Until now, people want a reunion movie or project of Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga. To this, the Broadway actress has a question regarding their partnership.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN, speaking to Toni Gonzaga on “I Feel U”, Lea expressed that she does not know what hooked the people to her tandem with Aga.
“Kasi sa dinamirami ng naging partner ni Aga, bakit ‘yung sa amin pa ‘yung pinatritripan ng tao? I don’t know,” the actress-singer said according to the report.
According to Lea, possibly, it is Olivia “Inang” Lamasan who could answer. She was their director for their hit movie Sana Maulit Muli and she has seen them work together.
Lea admitted that when they were working for the said film, she had a hard time crying but Inang was able to mold her. At the end of the taping, it was easier for her to cry.
In fact, there was even one scene that they she and Aga were able to cry in one take. Based on the report, it was taped in Baguio and the actor had to go home by the night as he has a commercial shoot the next day.
“My brain was more like, ‘We have to get this done. This guy’s gotta get down off the mountain tonight,’” she said.
Until today, people are waiting for the AgaLea reunion project. There were already talks about it before but no further details have come out of the said third project.
