Organizers of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on Wednesday said that the show was scheduled to take place in early January 2021.
This, as the organizers of the Consumer Electronics Show said that they’re going ahead with their plans to gather people around the world at their massive annual gathering in Las Vegas.
Knowing that a lot of in-person live conferences were being canceled due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the Consumer Technology Association trade group decided to hold its gadget extravaganza that was known to attract people worldwide.

In a message posted on its website, it said that major brands were committed for the said show, adding that they’re looking forward to announcing its “another slate of top-tier speakers”. The organizers also said that they had faced new considerations around conducting business, attending conferences, and traveling to meetings while they’re planning to produce an in-person event in Las Vegas.
Also, the organizers of the said show revealed their plans for their upcoming event. Here are some of the following plans: cleaning and sanitizing spaces across the show venues regularly; maintaining social distancing; implementing best practices for attendees and for exhibitors on their product demonstrations as well; limiting touchpoints throughout the facilities; and providing enhanced on-site access to health service and medical aid throughout the show.
Aside from this, the organizers mentioned that they will be highlighting technologies that would help provide various solutions for day-to-day challenges created by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
