Apple might rename iOS to iPhoneOS, according to leaksters.
Leaksters recently claimed in their tweets that Apple might rename its operating system for iPhones — from iOS into iPhoneOS.
This, as Jon Prosser and Max Weinbach tweeted about the iPhoneOS. Jon Prosser simply posted “iPhone OS” on his Twitter account, while Max Weinbach replied to Jon’s tweet and said that Max received a random e-mail claiming Apple will rename “iOS to iPhone OS” and “iPhone to Apple Phone”.

Max then admitted that he didn’t believe those claims as stated in a random e-mail that he received.

Previously, Apple officially launched iPadOS which was Apple’s operating system that was made for iPads.
Meanwhile, Apple’s upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2020 was scheduled on June 22 and the company was expected to announce updated from Apple in terms of new developments as well as new features coming to iOS 14 for iPhones, iPadOS for iPads, watchOS for Apple Watch, and macOS for Macs.
